All new members are a ‘’Silver’’ member for their initial 4 years, and will be upgraded to a “Gold” membership in their 5th year.

Membership categories explained for Silver and Gold members:

Full member: Person over the age of 18, full use of club facilities 7 days a week, entitled to full voting rights.

Disabled Member: A Full Member of the BDWWA, treated as a full member of the Club.

Weekday Member: Person over the age of 18, has full use of the club facilities from Monday to Friday (inclusive). When skiing at weekends name to go on ‘Visitor Slots’ and pay the guest rate for a tow. Has full Voting Rights. May not be elected onto the Committee.

Family Members: Any adult paying a Full Membership who at the time of membership is also joining / renewing with more than one junior will get one junior free. e.g. Silver Membership– 1 x adult @ £315, 1 x junior @ £170 + 1 free junior (however £30 x 4 years still needs to be paid for 2nd junior to qualify for Gold Membership).

Student Member: Person over 18 but below 23 in Full Time Education, proof to be given on application of membership. No voting rights.

Junior Member: under 18. No voting rights.

Non – Skiing Social Member: Person wishing to attend general meetings and receive newsletters. Not eligible for election to the Committee but may be co-opted. May make occasional use of all other club facilities.

Bronze Membership: Allows member to continue to ski / board at the Club following 6 visits as a visitor or guest to the Club.  A Bronze member must take up BWSW membership.  A Bronze member may only use the ‘Yellow’ slots on the ski board and will continue to pay the visitor rate for a tow. Bronze Members have no voting rights but have full use of all of the Club facilities.


In addition every member has to pay for British Water Ski & Wakeboard Membership
